From Molineseca

Sitting in a small cafe and questioning my sanity and if I will ever be able to walk again. Today was amazing as about 2km we hit the Cruz de Ferro.  Many legends about the origins. Essentially you carry a small stone from home with you and leave it at the Cruz. It represents your burden whatever it might be. We then walked downhill which was harder than going uphill….as with everyday thus far we gave had sun, fog, rain, sun…..ponchos on, ponchos off. Our morale is high. And we have fallen into a group who we see throughout the day and chat with. Romania, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Korea, and Canada are represented in our rag tag pilgrim posse. Everyone has a different reason but the goal for all is the same. SANTIAGO. Will post pics once I recharge both my phone and spirit. Cerveza and vino tinto por Los peregrinos por favor!
